On Monday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, the total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 2.835 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,028. PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,995. Major business was contributed by gold amounting to PKR 840.148 million, followed by currencies through COTS PKR 826.257 million, WTI crude oil PKR 782.602 million, silver PKR 249.888 million, platinum PKR 81.554 million, copper PKR 36.085 million, natural gas PKR 16.027 million and Brent crude oil PKR 2.801 million.
