Kissan Board Pakistan (KBP) has convened meeting of its General Council (GC) on August 23, 2017 in Lahore to chalk out strategy for forcing the government to accept its charter of demand which include clearance of payments to growers by the sugar mills and reframing of agricultural policies. KBP Central President Ch Nisar Ahmad and Secretary General Arslan Khan Khakwani said in a statement issued here Tuesday that the meeting would take revolutionary decisions to advance the accountability movement of the Board.
