"I need a lawyer, can you make any suggestions?"

"That's a tough one. The best lawyers as lawyers not in their reincarnation..."

"Hey, we don't believe in reincarnation."

"I didn't mean reincarnation as in reincarnation, I meant the lawyers transition from lawyers to politicians."

"What are you? The First Family's lawyer? The review petition on the Panama Papers case states that under Income Tax Ordinance 2001 salary is to be declared only after it is received and Nawaz Sharif never accepted money from his sons as salary; though mind it he did accept over 50 crore rupees annually as gift from the First and Second Son which under the same Ordinance is not liable to be taxed..."

"You see this is part of our culture and I am amazed that the higher judiciary did not take it into consideration: we do not accept salary from our children but hey a gift is a gift is a gift."

"Are you being facetious?"

"Good heavens, I wouldn't dare in these circumstances. But anyway the Sharif lawyers have a very good winning record but only when the party is in power and need I add what is happening today with respect to the First Family's cases is extremely disturbing as past precedence (specifically their winning record when in power), the basis of many a court judgment, is simply not being taken into consideration."

"Now I know you are being facetious. But anyway, the best lawyers and the most respected lawyers as lawyers though not as politicians belong to the PPP and need I add Zardari sahib has made full use of them."

"But they don't win cases even when the party is in power!"

"Indeed, but that's a thing of the past."

"Will they win cases now you reckon?"

"It is unlikely that the party will be returned to power in the centre any decade soon so as the party will never be in power..."

"Being facetious again my friend. Anyway, what about the Khan's lawyers?"

"Even worse than Mian sahib's lawyers and their win or loss is entirely premised on the strength of the documents provided by the party and not on their arguments if you know what I mean so I would suggest the Khan to lure good lawyers from the PPP."

"Who never won when the party was in power?"

"Ah, but we have to wait for The Khan to become the Prime Minister before we pass judgment on that score."
