The former 'Middle Kingdom' is widely known, among other things, for its wisdom and prudence. It disdains belligerence and provocation. Moreover, it knows many ways to avoid hasty decisions. Terming the disqualification of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif as Pakistan's 'internal matter' China has ably reflected its astute approach to the region and beyond. Beijing has said that the removal of Nawaz Sharif from the office of prime minister Pakistan's internal matter and it does not affect their socio-economic co-operative partnership, even in the context of the Belt and Road's initiative. One may, therefore, safely deduce that Nawaz Sharif's exit from the Prime Minister's House would not adversely affect the game changer China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
