The locals have decided to spend their third day of Eid outside as they have started visiting recreational places including parks and zoos. On the other hand, various shops have witnessed crowd due to hunt for delicious breakfast.
Visitors who managed to reach picturesque valley of Swat and Abbottabad complained of soaring prices of food items and other commodities, as well as the hike is rates of hotel rooms. Police officials said a large number of vehicles have so far entered Abbottabad during last three days of Eid, as tourists flocked to hill top region.
The visitors said authorities have been forced to close down further entry to the hill station owing to the bumper-to-bumper traffic jam along the highway. Police have also asked visitors, especially those travelling on motorcycles, to restrict from parking on the roadside to take selfies as it leads to traffic jams. Meanwhile, the recent spell of rain in parts of country including Murree, Islamabad and Dera Ismail Khan has turned weather pleasant.
