Met Office has predicted the onset of monsoon in Pakistan during the coming week and said that rain/thundershowers are also expected at scattered places in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Upper KP, & Kashmir during Eid Holidays (Monday-Wednesday).

Spokesman of Met-Office said on Friday that monsoon, presently giving rains over central parts of India, is heading towards Pakistan. Monsoon currents will start to penetrate in Pakistan on Monday/Tuesday and good rains/thundershowers expected at a number of places in the country. Rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls and strong gusty winds are expected at a number of places in Punjab, Islamabad, KP, Fata, GB & Kashmir from Monday to Friday.

Rain/thundershowers with strong gusty winds at scattered places in Lower Sindh and Eastern Balochistan from Wednesday to Saturday. Weather Forecast for today. Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, rain-thunderstorm with gusty winds is expected at few places in Kalat and Zhob divisions. Light rain/drizzle expected at few places along Sindh coastline. The highest on Friday was in Nokkundi, Dalbandin 49°C, Rohri, Sukkur, Shaheed Benazirabad, Dadu, Punjgur 43°C.
