Sindh government has proposed to increase the Sindh Revenue Board's annual revenue budgetary target by 28.2 percent to Rs 100 billion for the fiscal year 2017-18. During his budget speech, Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah announced that SRB would be able to achieve its current revenue target of Rs 78 billion within ongoing fiscal year. Under the Sindh Tax Resource Mobilization Plan, proposed target of Sindh Revenue Board has been Rs 100 billion which is 28.2 per cent higher than the previous target.
