The revenue collection of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has shown a growth of 15 percent during May 2017 when compared with the same period last fiscal year. It is learnt that the FBR has provisionally collected Rs 346 billion during May 2017 against Rs 298 billion in the corresponding period of last fiscal year (2015-16), reflecting an increase of 15 percent. The revenue collection would further increase on compilation of final figures in coming days, sources added.
