The local tiles manufacturers will increase market share by 12 percent, if the government continues Anti-Dumping Duty (ADD) on Chinese tiles imports, said top official of the Shabbir Tiles & Ceramics. Speaking to an event organised at a recreational club, here, CEO Shabbir Tiles & Ceramics Masood Jafferi that the market share of local and imported tiles was almost equal (50-50) and the government has now imposed ADD provisionally on Chinese tiles imports in order to protect local tiles industry.

He said that if the ADD remained unchanged on Chinese tiles imports, then local tiles manufacturers would be able to increase market share of local tiles by 12 percent in coming years.
