On Thursday at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,984. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 3.912 billion and the number of lots traded was 11,858. Major business was contributed by currencies through COTS amounting to PKR 1.389 billion, followed by gold PKR 1.365 billion, WTI crude oil PKR 841.224 million, silver PKR 258.812 million, copper PKR 49.839 million and Brent crude oil PKR 7.751 million.
