On Wednesday, at Pakistan Mercantile Exchange Limited, PMEX Commodity Index closed at 2,987. The total traded value of Metals, Energy and COTS/FX was recorded at PKR 4.122 billion and the number of lots traded was 17,871. Major business was contributed by WTI crude oil amounting to PKR 1.408 billion, followed by gold PKR 1.274 billion, currencies through COTS amounting PKR 1.097 billion, silver PKR 297.023 million, copper PKR 40.790 million and Brent crude oil PKR 4.370 million.
