Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Shaharyar M. Khan has felicitated Pakistani team on success in first test match against West Indies. He said that Pakistani players displayed good performance and earned victory. He praised skipper Misbah ul Haq for leading the team efficiently.

Praising Younis Khan, the PCB head said the number of records Younis has set in the recent past is something we as a nation can take great pride in. Younis is the only Pakistan batsman and Test cricketer in the world to score centuries in 11 countries across the world, the feat he achieved against Australia early this year.

Moreover, Congratulating Pakistani cricket team, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that Pakistani players displayed outstanding performance in bowling, batting and fielding and defeated West Indies on its home ground. He said that success in first test match is the result of teamwork of Pakistani players. He said that Muhammad Amir and Yasir Shah played an important role in the victory of Pakistan through excellent bowling and high quality bating of Caption Misbah ul Haq and Babar Azam also became the source of triumph. Shehbaz Sharif said it is hoped that Pakistani players will also get success by presenting first-class game in coming test matches.
