Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) is planning to automate its agents' related system in order to facilitate them at optimum level. This was stated by acting CEO PIA Nayyar Hayat during his meeting with a group of leading travel agents in Lahore. He said that travel agents were playing an important role in promoting PIA's sales and the national flag carrier considered them as its trade partners.

He emphasised travel agents for promoting sales for Europe, UK and Americas with full PIA co-operation and also expressed satisfaction over the performance of PIA's Lahore sales team and asked to continue working diligently for achieving even better results in future. Moreover, Nayyar said PIA's management was working hard for improving the service standards of the national carrier so that a better product was made available to the passengers. Acting Chief Commercial Officer Tahir Niaz, District Manager, Asad Ullah Ghauri and officials from Lahore station were also present on the occasion.
