The meeting which met with Senator Muhammad Daud Khan Achakzai in the chair discussed proposed amendment in Pakistan Telecom (Re-organisation) Act, 1996 in detail and directed Special Communications Organisation (SCO) and Ministry of Information Technology to hold detailed consultation regarding proposed amendments and submit report in this regard before the committee within two weeks. The meeting was also attended by Senator Muhammad Javed Abbasi, Senator Kalsoom Parveen and senior officials of Ministry of Information Technology.
