The board of directors of the company in its meeting held on Thursday declared that the company's earning per share has increased to Rs 9.31 in the period under review against Rs 7.84 in the same period last year.
According to the financial results, net turnover for the quarter at Rs 10,607 million is 15 percent higher than the same period last year, due to higher revenues across all businesses. Operating result for the quarter, at Rs 1,064 million, is 23 percent higher as compared to the same period last year, due to robust growth in the chemicals and life sciences businesses by 54 percent and 22 percent respectively, coupled with a 31 percent reduction in operating loss in the polyester business.
