Spokesman of the Prime Minister Dr Musadik Malik on Tuesday called for focusing on future technologies such as Nanotechnology, Bio Technology, Information Technology and Artificial intelligence for future progress. He was addressing the Human Resource and Learning Conference organised by Pakistan Society for Training and Development (PSTD) and Pakistan Society of HR Management (PSHRM). He also said that we should also focus and invest on human resource development. Malik said that to achieve success foresightedness, in sightedness, imagination and passion is needed.

The theme of the conference was People-Passion- Purpose. The conference brought together the most influential, forward thinking HR leaders and senior executives from all over the country to discuss current issues, trends and solutions to today's organizations HR and Learning needs in the context of the theme.

The conference was addressed by Saquib Sherazi CEO Atlas Honda, Syeda Henna Babar Ali (Chairperson DICPK), Shahid Hussain (CEO, Service Sales Corporation), Muddasir Aqil (CEO, FINCA Microfinance), Monis Rehman (Chairman and CEO Naseeb Networks), Fariha Salahuddin (VP Global Talent, Business Lead Consumer Healthcare GSK), Dr James A. Tebee (Rector, Forman Christian College) and Umar Saif (vice chancellor Information Technology University).

The conference provides an opportunity for Business Leaders, HR professionals and Learners to get a global perspective on best practices and solutions to current unique organisational challenges in the areas of Human Resources and Learning and Development.
