Model Collectorate Customs (MCC), Preventive on Monday claimed to have confiscated huge foreign currency from a female passenger, leaving to UAE. According to details, the staff posted at international departure of Jinnah International Airport (JIAP) intercepted a female passenger namely Fehmida, who was travelling to Sharjah from Air Arabia flight G9-548.

Following her refusal to have over prescribed limit of foreign currency in her possession, the staff after thorough examination recovered around 0.1 million Saudi Riyals from her possession. Consequent upon the recovery, the case has been registered and she was taken into custody for further investigation.
