The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has banned all types of leaves for next 3 months to finalise third quarter revenues and budget preparations. According to sources, the FBR has issued circular to all the regional chief commissioners and chief collectors with a direction to implement it in true letter and spirit. No FBR official would be allowed to apply for any type of leave, including the ex-Pakistan leave, till 30th June, the circular added. Sources said the FBR was also considering of reducing weekly offs to 1 day against the existing twice a week off.
