Soyabean futures on the Chicago Board of Trade fell to a three-week low on Wednesday, pressed by technical selling and expectations of a large South American soya harvest, traders said. The CBOT March soyabean contract settled down 3-1/2 cents at $10.22-3/4 per bushel after dipping to $10.22-1/4, its lowest since February 1.

Trade awaits US 2017 plantings and usage forecasts from the US Department of Agriculture's annual outlook forum on Thursday and Friday. CBOT March soyameal settled lower for a fourth straight session, following soyabeans. CBOT March soyaoil ended higher, snapping an eight-session decline, on oil/meal spreading and spillover from strength from higher Malaysian palm oil futures.
