Sindh's Finance Minister Murad Ali Shah on Sunday lashed out at the Nawaz-led government, saying that the provincial government would not allow the supply of gas to any province if its demands are not met, according to a private TV channel. Addressing a press conference at Chief Minister's House, Shah levelled a slew of allegations against the federal government. The Nandipur power project was the focal point of his criticism.

He alleged the Nawaz government of taking kickbacks on various development projects, and claimed that Nandipur is the most expensive project in the world.

Shah claimed the tariff of the project would be Rs 35 per unit. He also raised questions on transparency of the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Park project.

He said those who view Sindh as a province marred by corruption must also examine the solar power project.

The Finance Minister said that Punjab government has completed half of its tenure but hasn't done anything to curb the electricity load shedding. "They earlier said they would end the energy crisis in 6 months", he said. He said the Nawaz-led federal government has rejected all of Sindh's projects to curb load shedding.
