Owners of power-loom factories, belonging to Sadhar sector, Jhang Road and Faisalabd, have decided to re-open their factories immediately following labourers ended their week-long sit-in. A decision to this effect was taken at a joint meeting of owners of power-loom factories and agitating labourers which was called by DCO Noor-ul-Amin and CPO Afzal Ahmad Kausar for resolving their lingering dispute.

Representatives of power-looms factories' owners - Waheed Khaliq Ramay, Haji Nazir Ahmad, Mian Adil, Sarwar Ali, Safir Ahmad, Mian Muhammad Akram and labour leaders Aslam Mehraj, Rana Tahir, Abdul Latif Ansari, Fazal Elahi and Malik Mumtaz Ahmad participated in the meeting. Additional district collector Kanwar Ejaz Khaliq, SP Malik Muhammad Awais and district officer (Labour) Imtiaz Saifi were also present on the occasion. Factory owners and labour leaders on this occasion resolved that they would collectively work for boosting industrial production.

Speaking on the occasion, DCO Noor-ul-Amin urged both the owners of power-loom factories and labourers to maintain industrial peace and harmony. He also assured them that the district administration would protect the rights of both the owners and labourers of power-loom factories. CPO Afzal Ahmad Kausar said that the local administration and police would ensure industrial peace at any cost.
