The Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Sciences (FHAVS), the Agriculture University Peshawar (AUP) has planned to organise 3rd international workshop on 'Dairy Science Park 2015. The university has been consecutively conducting the international moot on the Dairy Science Park, with partnership of academia, government, entrepreneurs, exporters & civil society with special focus on meat production targeted at International Halal Food Market, said Chief Organiser DSP/Dean FAHVS Professor Dr Muhammad Subhan Qureshi.

This year, he said, the FHAVS has outlined a comprehensive plan for the workshop themed as "DSP- A tool for supporting the economy of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through self-employment and hygienic food production for local consumers and international Halal Meat Market worth US $500 billion." For this purpose, he said faculty has engaged with its sister organisations, which is most probably to hold the international workshop on November this year.
