The Lahore School of Economics will host an inauguration for the newly established Centre on International Migration, Remittances and Diaspora (CIMRAD) today at City campus Gulberg. The first institute of its kind in Pakistan, the Centre specialises in the study and analysis of international migration and its social and economic impacts - with a focus on the diaspora and the flow of remittances.

Dr Ishrat Hussain, Former Governor State Bank of Pakistan will be the Chief Guest at the inauguration. Other speakers will include Enrico Ponziani, Chief of Mission, International Organisation for Migration and representatives of the World Bank, International Growth Centre (IGC) and SBP.-PR
