The government has allocated Rs 1.206 billion for the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the federal budget 2014-2015 against the outgoing fiscal year's revised estimate of Rs 1.113 billion, showing an increase of over Rs 93 million.

The break-up of the allocation is as follows: employees related expenses Rs 953,496,000, Rs 251,749,000 for salaries, Rs 191.810 million for pay of officers, Rs 5,99,39,000 for pay of other staff, Rs 701,747,000 for allowances, Rs 486,232,000 for regular allowances, Rs 215,515,000 for other allowances excluding transport allowance, Rs 187,774,000 for operating expenses, Rs 19,000,000 for employees retirement benefits, Rs 4,0000,000 for transfers, Rs 22,000,000 for physical assets, and Rs 20,200,000 has been set aside for repairs and maintenance of transport, machinery and equipment, furniture and fixture, buildings and structure of the apex court.

Islamabad High Court: A total of Rs 414,640,000 has been allocated for the Islamabad High Court in the federal budget 2014-15 against the outgoing financial year's revised estimate of Rs 361,533,000 reflecting an increase of Rs 5,31,07,000. According to the break-up of the allocation: employees related expenses Rs 362,633,000, allocation for salaries Rs 106,742,000, Rs 83,412,000 for pay of officers, Rs 23,330,000 for pay of other staff, Rs 255,891,000 for allowances, Rs 244,280,000 for regular allowances, Rs 11,611,000 for other allowances excluding transport allowance, Rs 38,599,000 for operating expenses, Rs 2,000 for employees retirement benefits, Rs 1,000 to grants subsidy and write off loans, Rs 1,200,000 for transfers, Rs 6,802,000 for physical assets and Rs 5403,000 allocated for repairs and maintenance of transport, machinery and equipment, furniture and fixture, buildings and structure of the Islamabad High Court. District Judiciary of Islamabad Capital Territory: The government has allocated Rs 305,815,000 for the district judiciary in the federal budget 2014-15 with an increase of Rs 1,3476000 as compares to 2013-14's allocation of Rs 292,339,000.
