CEO Club, UAE organised an Investment Conference on March 4, in Dubai, to discuss prospects of Expo 2020 to be held in Dubai, UAE. The CEO Club has world-wide membership of leading businessmen. Expo 2020 is going to be a mega event bringing vast opportunities for exports of human resource, services and products from Pakistan as demand of these would be increased many folds during the event.

Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP) trade delegation visited the conference. The delegation comprised Dr Syed Javaid Akhtar, Director General, Middle East, TDAP, Usman Zakarya, President FPCCI, Senior Vice President and Vice President of FPCCI and representatives of Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industries. The participation proved to be very useful. The presentations and panel discussions done during the conference were very informative about opportunities being brought by Expo 2020. Pakistan's perspective and potential to supply human resources, services and products to fulfil increased demand for Expo 2020 was brought to the knowledge of the audience by Director General TDAP during a panel discussion.

The delegates found the participation in the conference to be very useful. The delegates also had useful meetings with leading businessmen of UAE on the sidelines of the main event. The delegation also met Ambassador, Embassy of Pakistan, UAE, on March 5 who advised the delegates to make extensive efforts to fully exploit the upcoming opportunities.-PR
