Futures spreads decreased by 356 basis points during the outgoing week ended on January 4, down to 7.93 percent. Trading activities on the futures counter also decreased during the week. Average daily volumes declined by 70.9 percent to 5.97 million shares.

The average daily trading value also witnessed downward trend as it fell by 69.8 percent to Rs 444 million.
