Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited today announced that gas supply to DH Fertiliser plant (A wholly-owned subsidiary of Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited) was suspended on April 19 by the Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Limited (SNGPL). The gas supply was being discontinued in accordance with the Prime Ministers directives during second National Energy Conference for diverting gas to the power sector.

As a consequence, DH Fertilisers Limited was forced to shut down, said an announcement by the Company here on Friday. Dawood Hercules Corporation Limited in a disclosure statement, required under the material information disclosure provisions of the Stock Exchange Listing regulations, said that the company would inform the stock exchanges whenever the gas supply was restored.
