The government has earmarked Rs 11.68 billion for loans and advances to be given to public sector organisations and government servants. According to the budget documents a Rs 36 million loan will be extended to the Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) whereas Rs 3.3 billion have been allocated for loans to government servants. AJK will get Rs 8.007 billion loan in the name of ways and means advance.

The government also plans to give Rs 200 million loans/advances to friendly countries, however, no friendly country has been identified in the budget documents. Loans/advances of Rs 4 million will be given to the employees of Pakistan Nuclear Regulatory Authority (PNRA) whereas Rs 1 million will be given to Junagadh and Kathiawar Chiefs. Printing Corporation of Pakistan will also be given a loan of Rs 132 million during the next financial year.
