Acting Vice-Chancellor, University of Punjab Professor Dr Muhammad Arif Butt visited the under-constructed E and F type houses in residential colony of New Campus here on Tuesday. He examined the construction material and told engineers to complete the work according to the map and maintain the work quality and take care of the air, light and sewerage system.

The 28 E and 10 F type houses are still under construction, whereas one additional room is also going to be constructed in all E Type Houses. VC also visited university executive club and examined the construction work of kitchen and additional block and stressed to do quality work.

He also checked the dining hall and committee room of the club and told the PD to renovate. He also visited the hostel areas and inspected the entry gates and security arrangements made there. He then examined the reception room under construction at the entry gate No 4 and told the staff to arrange for crush-training programmes for security staff.

Project Director Sheikh Muhammad Ali, President Academic Staff Association Professor Mumtaz Salik, Secretary Dr Asmat Ullah, Resident Officer-II Malik Muhammad Zaheer and staff officer Manzoor Ahmad Khan were also present on the occasion.
