The government has raised customs duty on certain items from five percent to 25 percent in the federal budget 2006-07. Customs duties on durum wheat have been raised from 5-10; evaporators and coated for antirust 5-10; condensers 5-10; covers 5-10; multi cores 5-10; Nickle rotary 10-15; spinning rings 10-20; energy saving lamps 10-15; blankets 15-25 and PVC electronic insulation taps from 20-25 percent respectively.
