Pakistan Navy ships Moawin and Tipu Sultan, which are currently on a goodwill cruise to UK, USA and Mediterranean countries, visited at La Goulette Port, Tunisia. The ships were received by Moen Jan Naim, the ambassador of Pakistan to Tunisia. The mission commander Commodore M. Asif Sandila along with the commanding officers of PN ships, called on Chief of the Naval Staff Tunisia Navy. During the meeting, views on the matters of bilateral interest were exchanged.

He also made courtesy calls on Chief of the Navy Staff CVM Tarek Fouzi Larbi and Mayor of La Goulette. The mission commander and the commanding officers also attended a dinner hosted by Tunisian Naval Chief in their honour.

A reception was also held on board PNS Moawin, which was attended by Princess Alia Bint-e-Hussain, Prince Rashid Bin Al Hassan and other senior Tunisian civil, military officers, parliamentarians, diplomats and members of the Pakistani community.
