The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting chaired by the Chief Minister here on Friday.
Pervaiz announced that 300 athletes from Punjab would participate in games to be held in Patiala in December this year.
He stated that inter provincial games to be participated by 1,000 athletes would be held in Punjab in March this year.
He also indicated to increase budget of provincial Sports Department. Secretary Sports Punjab, Saleem Kayani, Director General Sports Khawar Shah and others were present.
