"So Paul O'Neill, Bush's former Treasury Secretary, has said that plans to invade Iraq were made as early as the first week of his taking over office."

"When was that?"

"Pre-September 11. In the first week of January 2001 I would presume."

"So the rest was a farce?"

"Well it does add ammunition against Bush but the White House has so far not responded to these charges but I am pretty sure I know what they will say."

"That grapes are sour! That Paul O'Neill was made to resign and he is just taking his revenge."

"But why now?"

"Elections are near again and."

"Couldn't it be that his conscience did not allow him to keep this information secret any longer?"

"You know I don't support Bush but in this case it seems likely that it's a bit of both - a bit of the truth and a bit of grapes are sour. Now it's up to the Democrats to take up the challenge."

"Wonder how this makes poodle feel."

"Poodles are loyal no matter what. No matter even if their masters kick them."

"Ah yes. But then about 140 or so British MPs are asking the US Supreme Court to look into the illegal detention of the Guantanamo prisoners. If I remember correctly poodle supported Bush even on that."

"You see this is the beauty of the democratic system. These two guys, seemingly with supreme powers, I mean Bush and his poodle, are having those very powers challenged. That is why I always say we need true democracy and not the new and improved version. Let it take a decade, two decades, OK so if Mian Sahib and BB remain the key players let it take four decades but eventually they will grow up as will their parties."

"And you know what irks me about all this! That it is British MPs and Americans and human rights people from the West who are challenging the detention of the Guantanamo prisoners. I mean I didn't hear a single Muslim country, including Karzai's Afghanistan, who asked that these guys be treated humanely."

"Talking of Karzai I hear four Pakistan soldiers are dead because of a rocket attack launched from South Waziristan - from al Qaeda supporters."

"Ah yes, an ultimatum was given to them."

"As has been given to Osama and his gang and they are running around free."

"Ah, but South Waziristan can be squashed by our army."
