Top Chinese computer maker Legend Group Ltd said on Wednesday it had bought out Time Warner's stake in their $200 million Internet joint venture launched with much fanfare nearly three years ago.

A Legend spokeswoman said as recently as Tuesday that the venture, which never began commercial operations, was still intact.

Last year the company said the project was put on hold due to changes in the market.
