The Karachi Port handled 95,312 tonnes of cargo including 83,749 tonnes import and 11,563 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.

The cargo comprised of 41,312 tonnes dry and 54,000 tonnes liquid cargo.

Four ships namely Garden Ocean, Hammurabi, Tiger Pearl and Mol Sprinter sailed to sea during the report period.

Four vessels viz Hammurabi, Heng Tong, Sea Lady and Swat are currently at the berths.

Four ships namely MT Swat, Anjum, Nissaki and Orient Stride expected to sail on Saturday.

Four ships namely Stolt Kikyo, Ocean Genius, Induruwa Valley and Mercs Kirinda due to arrive on Saturday, while two vessels viz MT Johar and Corinthiakos are due to arrive on Sunday.

Five ships namely Andreea, Enrico Ievoli, Ap Star, Min He and Chemstar Princess are due to arrive on Monday.

PORT QASIM


A total cargo volume of 66,691 tonnes including 51,913 tonnes import and 14,178 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.

The cargo comprised of 2,850 tonnes edible oil; 28,714 tonnes diesel oil; 7,087 tonnes general cargo; 11,766 tonnes coal and 15,674 tonnes containerised cargo.

M.T. Chemroad Vega sailed to sea on Saturday, while three more ships namely M.V. Aftokratira Irani, Safmarine Prime and Warbah are expected to sail on the same day afternoon. Container ship Wan Hai due to take berth on Saturday.

M.V. Darya Chandse due to arrive on Saturday, while two more ships namely Kanij Gawa and Hotaka Maru are due to arrive on Sunday.
